Asbestos miners in India demand recent study results

On 4 January in Ahmedabad, India, 30 members from Rajasthan State mine unions "in the" National Institute of occupational health (new). The demonstrators demanded the release of a report containing the findings of a study on asbestos miners. The study included sixty-one hundred and four miners and possible asbestos mining affects on their health.

Carcinogenic asbestos is classified as Type 1. It causes several deadly respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, Lung poses and mesothelioma. The use of asbestos has become highly regulated in many developed countries, as it became known health and safety risks. However, in developing countries such as India, asbestos continues to use them regularly and without appropriate protection measures.

The United States covers the use of asbestos in the Clean Air Act, EPA code of conduct for the u.s. air quality and maintenance. Currently, accumulating asbestos lawsuits in America, United Kingdom and Australia as individuals and companies that violate public health systems. However, throughout the world and around asbestos works with thousands of such regulations or even teach safety to take personal precautions.

The exclusive cause of asbestos cancer mesothelioma, a rare cancer affecting the abdominal cavity lining most commonly the lungs. Airborne asbestos fibers can begin motativi if inhaled. Mesothelioma take decades to develop — usually between 20 and 50 years of symptoms. One generation scientists that those inspection workers already showed 93 signs asbestos related disease. This is about 65 per cent of workers who were part of the study. The report, however, still not released. Many believe that there are more then, as suddenly resigned members of the generation who conducted experiments.

Protesters continue to make demands and threatening a hunger strike.
